"I can’t help it
This poor heart just melted
I can’t take my eyes off you
It’s too good to be true
I’m upset lately cuz I’m obsessed
With starting this romance
But do I have a chance?
My friends say Dent just toughen up
Grab that phone and say what’s up
One call that’s all
I need and I’ll be on my way to you
One call that’s all
It takes to make my dreams come true
Ok I heard it through the grapevine
That you’re not doing fine
Do you need someone to talk to?
Now I’m staring at your number
Do you ever wonder late at night crying in your room?
You don’t have to be alone
C’mon now pick up that phone
One call that’s all
I need and I’ll be on my way to you
One call that’s all
It takes to make your dreams come true
One call that’s all
I need and I’ll be on my way to you
One call that’s all
It takes to make our dreams come true"

Alvvays has always been great, but with this album they took it to the next level. Every one of these songs is lodged in my brain now, permanently (in a good way). s. moxley

An absolutely lovely, superb recording. Amazing melodies with that “infinite jangle” replete with great booming bass lines and Martin’s sympathetic and wistful vocals. Another collection of great tunes from Real Estate. mo497
Two slabs of surfy psych-rock instrumentals from a group that's been doing it longer than you've been alive, probably. Bandcamp New & Notable May 7, 2024

It had been far too long since I'd checked in on Belle and Sebastian, and I regret I've been away so long. Stuart Murdoch is an incredible song writer and their are some excellent tracks here. Prophets On Hold, Do It For Your Country, and Unnecessary Drama are Belle and Sebastian at their best. sentient meat
